My Favorite Collection of Engagement and Elopement Photos

There’s something so special about engagement and elopement sessions. The quiet in-between moments, the stolen glances, the laughter that breaks through when I remind couples it’s okay to just be themselves. From the first inquiry, I want every couple to feel like they're not just booking a shoot, but beginning a shared creative process. We start with a consultation to talk through their story, what they’re envisioning, and any nerves they might have. I love using that time to get a feel for their dynamic, it helps me approach the day of the shoot with ideas that are tailored, not templated.

By the time we meet for the session, it already feels like we know each other. I guide them through prompts and playful directions, but my goal is always to let their personalities lead. Whether we’re dancing down a quiet street in the West Village or sneaking kisses between cab rides, I’m always chasing that moment where they forget the camera is there.
